Our Floating Gardens (except our pond units) come with a supply of nutrient powder. When you run out of nutrient, you can purchase more here. Our Floating Garden Nutrient Powder is specially formulated for our Floating Gardens and is intended only for our Floating Garden Kitchen Kitchen Garden Kit and our Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden Kit . Floating Garden Nutrient Powder contains twelve macro and micro nutrients necessary for vigorous plant growth in our Floating Gardens. The nutrient powder comes in five separate packets - each of which when added to plain tap water, makes one-gallon for a total of five gallons of nutrient solution. Five gallons are enough for 10 complete fillings of our Floating Garden Kitchen Garden and three complete fillings of our Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden. We generally alternate between tap water and nutrient solution between successive fillings or topping off as less nutrient is used by the plants than water due to evaporation and plant respiration.

Our Floating Gardens come with a supply of rockwool cubes to support bedding plants and provide porosity for oxygen transfer to the roots. While the cubes are inert and are potentially re-usable, if your plants grow for lengthy periods, it might be hard to dislodge the cubes from the plant during the replanting process.
Each bag of replacement rockwool cubes is sufficient for replanting 16 net pots. This will suffice for four replanting of the Floating Garden Kitchen Garden and five re-plantings of the Floating Garden Vegetable Hydroponic Garden.

Our Floating Gardens come with a supply of porous ceramic beads to support bedding plants. These are inert and re-usable. However, if your plants grow for lengthy periods, it might be hard to dislodge the beads from the plants before each replanting of your Floating Gardens.
Each bag of replacement ceramic beads is sufficient for replanting more than 12 bedding plants in our 2" net pots when used in conjunction with our rockwool cubes. This will suffice for more than three replanting of the Floating Garden Kitchen Garden and four re-plantings of the Floating Garden Hydroponic Garden.
